The upper age limit for eligibility is 45 years of age. SMOB strongly encourages applications from different linguistic regions and institutional settings. <\/li>\n\n<li style=\"border-bottom: 0px !important;background:none !important;list-style: number  !important;padding: 0px 0px 10px 0px  !important;\">Fluent English language use, which will serve as the group\u2019s official working language.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"border-bottom: 0px !important;background:none !important;list-style: number  !important;padding: 0px 0px 10px 0px  !important;\">Commitment to\u00a0multidisciplinary collaboration in obesity care. Representation is strongly encouraged across all following disciplines:\u00a0surgery, endocrinology, nutrition, gastroenterology, psychiatry, general practitioners, nurses.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"border-bottom: 0px !important;background:none !important;list-style: number  !important;padding: 0px 0px 10px 0px  !important;\">Interest in contributing to the design and implementation of\u00a0training and educational programs\u00a0within SMOB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading marginBottm5px has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1cf797fb83419351c97df35afc51bb7c\" style=\"color:#1b75bc;font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Membership:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The group members are selected following an open call to all SMOB members and obesity-related societies in Switzerland. The mandate is set for a period of 2 years and is renewable, provided that eligibility criteria continue to be met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current SMOB Educational and Early Career Group was appointed in February 2026, following an open call in December 2025.
