SMOB Board

Our dedicated Board of Directors is the backbone of our organisation and is elected by our General Assembly for a four-year term.

In electing our Board of Directors, we pay particular attention to representing the diversity and breadth of Switzerland's regions and to maintaining the interprofessionalism of the specialist disciplines involved in the treatment of obesity. This inclusive approach ensures that we fully address the many facets of obesity medicine and take into account the interests of our members from all parts of Switzerland.

The most important selection criterion for Board members is their commitment: each Board member brings not only expertise and experience, but also a willingness to take responsibility and actively shape our organisation.

Each member plays a pivotal role within our team, collectively contributing to the continued success of the SMOB as a leading authority in the field of obesity medicine.
